Abstract
The paper looks at the legal status of the Treaty for establishing the Energy Community of Southeast Europe. She compares the provisions of the Treaty to similar issues found in relations between the EU and the EFTA within the EEA, aimi ng to assess how the Energy Community could develop within the EU’s external relations regime.
